Alright, so, I haven't gone in yet, but I got some photos of the outside. I just found out from my friend that they're going to tear it down pretty soon. This makes me really sad and pushes me get my butt inside this beautiful historic building. What a waste.

They recently turned on more lights and put up some more gates. Like that'll stop anyone.

This Weekend?

Okay! A trip is scheduled somewhere this weekend. Either the University of Arizona tunnels, The Santa Rita Hotel, or the mall tunnels. My younger friend, Mattea, has asked and pushed me to finally get on it and do this. So, here goes.

Let's see what happens.

It's freaking cold outside. Yes, I'm serious. And since I grew up in Tucson I think that's a pretty good excuse. When it gets warmer (or if I decide to tough it out) I'll do it. I swear.

No New Updates...Yet.

Oh gosh, I haven't really been anywhere worthy enough to update this thing. I've been looking at The Hotel Santa Rita, but going alone to any of these places is a bad idea. And whenever I try to get my group together, work happens for someone, or homework is piling up, or it's just too darn late or some silly stuff.

Well, school is almost over for the semester and I figured that it may just be too troublesome to try to do it during school with everyone's busy schedules. So, the plan is to try, try again during winter vacation. And hopefully, before January, I will get some photos posted of either The Santa Rita or somewhere interesting. I won't ket you down! =) Sorry for the wait.

First Up

I suppose I should introduce myself. My name is Jamie Madden and was born and raised in beautiful Tucson, Arizona. I have this weird addiction to exploring. Especially in places I probably shouldn't be. Which is perhaps why I enjoy "Urban Spelunking" so very much. I'm currently at Pima Community College studing archaeology (no wonder). And I plan on soon transferring to the University of Arizona and then one day, on to explore the world. But, for now, I think I'll just stick to exploring Tucson.

I'm trying to create a place for other urban spelunkers such as myself. I want to include photos and other infomation that others can use for adventures of thier own! So, if you found a place or need some help locating a particular site, talk to me! We can help each other out.
